I tried a few service agencies online and found them unacceptable.  For the most part they were just agencies that just offered profiles of people available in the area. Then I found Helpers Care. My contact was Petra and she was a godsend. Once I explained what my specific needs were, she took over and made the whole process very easy for me. The caregiver Simbiat was very diligent and attentive The particular part that stood out was the service by Petra all the way through the process, including continued follow up after to see how I was doing. Petra and Jackie went above and beyond in offering their support to my mother-in-law, who came to town for our wedding shortly after knee surgery. Not only did Jackie help her get ready for the events and assist her with transportation, but she also offered her wonderful company. I didn't realize how challenging it might be to take care of her needs...as well as my own (disabilities). I called Helpers Care in early afternoon, spoke to Petra and by 5pm we had someone ringing our bell ready to help us out. Simbiat took such good care of my Mom. I'm forever grateful! This is a Company that really CARES and is run in such a professional manner. If being a caregiver is overwhelming you, please call Petra, you won't regret it. They take care of you. I need a person to stay with my mother (94 years old with dementia, that did not speak any English nor French) upon request basis. Petra and her team came true for me and my mother.
